Why Society Travel
Experienced guides, days that are planned, trips shaped around you, and pricing that stays practical.
Treks and sightseeing are led by guides who know the routes, the seasons and the places in between.
Days are planned so hotels, transport and the places you came to see fit together.
Trips can be shaped around your dates, pace and the parts of Nepal you most want to see.
Journeys are arranged with an eye on cost, so the trip stays within a practical budget.

The company
Society Travel was established on 1 July 1999 and works from Hattisar, Kathmandu. The agency is approved by the Government of Nepal. Trekking, tours, hiking and sightseeing sit alongside hotel bookings, transport and air ticketing.
Managing Director Sunil Sharma has spent more than two decades in aviation, including sales, marketing, operations and General Sales Agent work, as well as hospitality. The same office also arranges international holidays, including Dubai, Egypt and Indonesia.
What we arrange
Tours, trekking, hotels, vehicles and tickets, handled from one counter in Kathmandu.
Guided sightseeing across Nepal, from Kathmandu Valley heritage to the lakes and hills of Pokhara.
Local guides for Himalayan walks and longer treks, including routes in the Annapurna and Everest regions.
Rafting, paragliding, canyoning and mountain flights for days when the Himalaya should be seen up close.
Rooms matched to the itinerary and budget, in Nepal and at stops along the way.
Airport transfers, tourist vehicles, and chauffeured or self-drive car rental across Nepal.
Domestic and international air tickets. Society Travel has also arranged outbound holidays, including Dubai, Egypt and Indonesia.
The way we work
Reliable planning, a careful standard of service, room to change the plan, and pricing that stays competitive.
Traveler satisfaction comes first. The office in Hattisar arranges the days, the rooms and the rides so the journey holds together.
The focus is comfort, safety and a personal standard of service, from a short Kathmandu stay to a longer trek.
Plans can follow your dates, budget and interests, whether that is heritage, wildlife, trekking or a mix of all three.
Pricing is kept competitive so a well planned Nepal journey stays within reach.
